After a long ride, the Ridgeview was juuuuuust right. Quiet. Inviting. Full of personality. Small village vibes. Friendly people with a smile, EVERYWHERE! Great pizza and alcohol in walking distance. Happy travellers we are.
It's a fine, unpretentious motel that is clean, comfortable and quiet. Paul was friendly and helpful, and made our 2 night stay enjoyable. Our second time there.
Huge shout out to James and Les and the gang at the Ridgeview for going above and beyond while we stayed. Enjoyed the patio and the BBQ and so appreciative of the condiments and extra supplies James provided to enjoy our Gold River BBQ with the mountain views.
Good value, be prepared to meet some characters and enjoy less rules with a homey laid back atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Easy parking. Location is great, steps from bar/restaurant - the perfect stop before entering mid- Vancouver Island West coast.
I stayed at RidgeView Motor inn with my mom and had a good experience. We were in room 210, which was clean and comfortable. The staff was super friendly, and Chevy, the dog, is a must-meet! Overall, a cozy stay with great service.
We had the most amazing time at the Ridgeview on Thanksgiving weekend. The room was simple but very clean, and our host and caretaker of the Inn were so incredibly kind and helpful. Plus you can easily walk to the pub next door for an excellent meal. It made Thanksgiving so great with a gorgeous fall drive back home to boot. Thank you Ridgeview!!!
A great place to stop for lunch on your trip. Service is always good and food is also great and priced right. Definitely a great stop
Wandered in after a long day of travel. We were met with phenomenal customer service and a pleasant atmosphere! The rooms were clean and well stocked - we were provided with everything we needed. Enjoyed our continental breakfast with coffee in the morning before hitting the road. Motel is close to the town center, hiking trails, and a local restaurant. For a small motel in a small town, it was perfect for what we needed!
